There are many opportunities for a company to partner with the Bay State Breakers so that it is a mutually beneficial agreement. All corporate sponsorships are customized to fit the needs of each company. Discounts are available for combining multiple sponsorship options.
Scoreboard Signage All sports fans constantly look to the scoreboard for up to the second game information. Ice hockey fans look to the scoreboard several times during a game for the game time, the score, power plays, penalty killing, shots on goal, etc. Your name and logo will generate countless impressions during the game and over the entire season. There is a limited amount of space available.
The Zamboni The Zamboni is one of the most visible and recognizable opportunities available for your company to promote your brand and capture the attention of all the fans at the game. The Zamboni is the large “truck-like” machine that cleans the ice prior to the game and during each intermission. It takes approximately 15 minutes for the ice to be resurfaced during each break. If you decide on this option, the Zamboni will be transformed and painted to reflect your company’s colors and logo. During each intermission, fans are selected to ride on the Zamboni. The name of the fan is announced along with the company sponsoring the Zamboni and any message the sponsoring company wishes to make.
In Ice Logos Maximize your brand image and your marketing dollars with your logo painted in the ice. The In Ice logos are visible during all ice events and are often visible during television and newspaper highlight coverage. The In Ice logos are one of the premier signage opportunities available.
Dasher Board Signage (a pair of 3’ x 8’ boards) Ice hockey dasher boards are one of the most powerful forms of advertisements in all of professional sports. According to a study by Ernest & Young, a pair of 3’ x 8’ dasher boards with your logo will generate up to 84 million impressions per season. Your dasher boards will remain visible at all events where the boards are not required to be removed or covered. You will receive more impressions with after game skating, youth and adult hockey leagues.
Arena Banners (a pair of 3’ x 8’ Banners) Reach new customers and maintain your image and community awareness by displaying your logo and message on two 3’ x 8’ banners located directly above the seats inside the The Bog Arena.
Home Team Bench & The Visitor's Team Bench Your company’s logo will be displayed on the glass behind the Breakers team bench and/or the Visitor's Team Bench. Many times you may receive additional exposure as the team bench is heavily photographed by T.V. and the media.
The Penalty Box The “Penalty Box” is where the “Bad Boys of Hockey” go when there has been a fight or another rule infraction. Your company’s logo will be displayed on the glass behind the player in the box. This is a great location for a company that is trying to promote a tough or radical company image.
Ticket Backs Reach thousands of fans by promoting your company and brand on the back of individual game tickets. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of fans with your brand, your message and a special incentive/offer. The ticket backs often offer a promotion where the fans redeem their tickets for a special discount at the sponsoring company.
Fan of the Game The Breakers will select the craziest and most outrageous fan during every home game. This lucky fan will be presented with a $25 gift certificate for Breakers merchandise during the second intermission. The sponsor will present the fan with the gift certificate and any type of prize the sponsor wishes to present at all 20 home games. At the end of the season, all individual game winners will be invited back to compete for the honor of the craziest and most outrageous fan of the season. A special prize will be awarded by the Breakers and the sponsor.
Sweetheart of the Game The Breakers will select one lovely lady during every home game. This lucky fan will be presented with a red rose and a $25 gift certificate for Breakers merchandise during the first intermission. The sponsor will present the fan with the rose and the gift certificate and any type of prize the sponsor wishes to present at all 20 home games.
Game Night Sponsor Your company becomes the official sponsor for an entire Breakers game night. Your message will receive optimal recognition with all those in attendance and your company, brand and logo will be featured on all pre-game promotional spots in print media, radio and television. The Game Night Sponsor is responsible for all the costs associated with any give-away items. Game Night sponsorship includes placing banners around the The Bog, announcements during the game, sampling opportunities in front of or on the concourse of The Bog and merchandise give-away and promotions. Merchandise giveaway items can be hockey related items such as bobble heads, pucks, miniature sticks, etc. or items that represent your business. These items require the Breakers logo and can be produced by your company. If you choose, the Breakers can produce these items and your company will be invoiced for the cost.
Pocket Schedules Keep your company and brand in front of potential customers all season long by placing your logo on the Breakers pocket schedules. 5,000 full color wallet-sized pocket schedules will be distributed at all of our home games to all of our fans and to businesses all around our All-American City!
Player/Mascot Appearances Add additional excitement and increase your business traffic by having Breakers players come out and meet your customers. Fans of all ages love to meet our players and this is a great way to drive new business into your business. Two to three players will come out and spend 2 hours talking with your customers and signing autographs. Scheduling will depend on our game schedule.
Game Program Advertising Rates The Bay State Breakers Game Program contains all the important game and player information for our fans. Fans can read player biographies and all about the game of hockey. In addition, there are many action photos, game night rosters and a page for autographs. The program is available at all Breaker home games and is also distributed at player appearances, schools and all other special Breaker promotional events. The program is a must have for all in attendance at Breaker home games. More than 5,000 copies are distributed throughout the year and is a great way to promote your brand and company image.
